In conjunction with our GSA Contract, we promote and utilize our network of 1,200 Butler Builders. Local area Bulter Builders are typically highly-qualified, well-respected design/build general contractors in their local communities and know all the local construction methods, material suppliers and trade subcontractors who are financially qualified to work on government projects. We not only rely on them for this local insight, but also count on them to help us achieve the most competitive local pricing for your project.
As a nationwide general contractor, we realize that coming into a small community or remote construction site, we will not always get the best pricing from local trades who are not familiar with our company. They are unsure of our management capabilities, our payment policies, our Safety Program and general ability to win the project. Consequently, typical out-of-town contractors do not obtain the most competitive pricing from these local subcontractors. By having an established relationship with our network of Butler Builders to help us "partner" with a known entity in their area, BlueScope Construction is able to immediately establish a presence and a relationship that helps build trust and success. The ultimate result is a working relationship that provides government agencies with the best possible local team and a goal of a finished project on time and on budget.
