Description:
The Motor Transportation Operations Course at Fort Leonard Wood needed a new state of the art tactical vehicle simulator facility. They contracted with the Kansas City Corps of Engineers to design and procure the contracts for the construction of the project. Using the GSA FSS (Federal Supply Schedule) the Kansas City District Office awarded the purchase order to BlueScope Construction to supply the building and the services to prepare it for the simulators and classrooms. BlueScope Construction personnel attended and participated in all design/review sessions with Ft. Leonard Wood departments and completed this $11 million project on schedule.
