The agency needed an economical, permanent structure to house vehicles, forklifts, and various bulk products once stored in trailers and elsewhere at the Anacostia Park Complex. The National Park Service operates a seven-acre nursey complex with several large greenhouses and support facilities at the park which is located within the District of Columbia. The operations supply flowers and other plantings exclusively to the White House.
